* this is not a sequence to BOLEHLAND : PART I

welcome to the kingdom of bolehland. well... the law of gravity means that everything that goes up, will come down. pm (punda mar) finally stepped down and handed the "cokmar" to pl (pantek lah). upon his ascendancy to the throne, pl made a bold statement, welcomed by the rakyat in awe. pl told his people "i hate corruption and i will personally wage a war against corruption". pl also told his people "let us work together". work... what work? is it the "unfinished work" of his predecessor, the pm? if that is so, i guess they remain unfinished at this point of time.

in all fairness, pl should not be blamed. why should he? at the time he took over, the kingdom had zero savings with heavy borrowings. what can a poor man buy even the necessities when he doesn't have the money? even a year one pupil would know, no money, no work. so i can't understand why certain segments of the citizens were so pissed off and freely accusing pl as a hard sleeper (not difficult to sleep but hard for him to stay awake). this is blasphemous, irresponsible, high treason. these people should be hanged! he said we had no money. you should believe him, if not, who else? he is the grand son of a legendary ulama well respected during his lifetime. just look at the former and current first ladies. they are the role models for muslimah. pl must have taught them well. it goes the same to his daughter.

pl said he hates corruption. as we all know (at least some of us), the granting of projects to a certain company can also be construed as a form of corruption (terminology wise, it should be called nepotism or cronisym). but hey, the company is a well deserving candidate and the only company in malaysia having the expertise, capabilities and means to undertake and complete those mega projects. it is by mere coincidence and purely the fault of the moon that pl's son sits in the board of the company. anyway, he is only a non executive director, having nothing to do with the management, operation and administration of the company. surely he can't lift even a finger (not the middle one) or utter even the word "ah" (macam muazzein sebelum khatib membaca khutbah plak) within the company.

in bolehland, we have 2 factions of muslims. one belongs to the moon party, and the other to the hadhari section. i for one must applaud the genius of pl in coming up with this new concept. an ulama's grand son could not make a mistake and it was in fact, never a mistake. of course the people of the moon protested and ridiculed this new teaching. hey, they are the people of the moon and we are the people of the earth. what do they know about us? i suspect pl treats religion as a commodity and as a commodity, it must undergo a re-branding exercise to make it relevant so that he can sell it to the people. what is so fucking wrong about it?????
